Vince’s journey started in October 1999 with a simple pick-up truck, a wheelbarrow, and a big vision for the future. He launched Skyline Contractors Inc., focusing on concrete, excavation, and snowplowing services across Chicagoland. In doing so, Vince closely supervised the installation of the world-famous sculpture, The Runners, based at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
From building residential patios by hand to leading large-scale, multi-acre developments, Vince worked tirelessly to grow the business, all while maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship. His attention to detail and pursuit of perfection have earned him a reputation for achieving unmatched floor flatness (FF) and levelness (FL) results. These qualities have become a hallmark of every project he touches.
But Vince’s passion didn’t stop there. In 2004, he recognized a new home remodeling and construction opportunity and founded Platinum Touch Industries. Residential Bath $70,000–$100,000
Platinum Touch Industries, LLC transformed an outdated bathroom into a luxurious, spa-like retreat in this $70,000–$100,000 renovation. The project included full demolition, structural changes, and the addition of custom features like a bespoke shower enclosure, vanity, and elegant lighting. Large-format porcelain tiles resembling precious stone brought sophistication to the space, while lighting enhanced the serene ambiance.
Despite challenges such as rerouting electrical and installing premium materials, the team maintained precision and efficiency, completing the project within a strict six-week timeline. The result is a beautifully crafted bathroom that combines luxury, functionality, and exceptional attention to detail.
Entire House $250,000–$500,000
Platinum Touch Industries, LLC delivered a complete home renovation that turned a first-time buyer’s vision into a timeless forever home. With a focus on balancing luxury, functionality, and a spacious feel, the project reimagined the layout with an open-concept floor plan, high-end finishes, and custom cabinetry tailored to the family’s needs. Unique design touches, like ombre tilework in the bar area, added character while enhancing the overall elegance of the space.
Navigating a tight timeline tied to the clients’ children’s school schedule, the team maintained constant communication and built trust every step of the way. This full home renovation was rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and the goal of transforming a once unsafe space into a true dream home. Years of poorly executed DIY remodels left serious structural and safety issues, which Platinum Touch Industries, LLC addressed head-on. The new layout included a custom kitchen with inset cabinetry, integrated spice racks, a hidden coffee station, and bold quartz countertops with full-height backsplashes and mitered edges.
The design was elevated with a spa-like master bathroom, a floating staircase, and large-format porcelain tiles, while LED lighting added comfort and functionality.
